Andre Johnson, CEO

Mr. Johnson comes with a long track record of success in business, academics, and athletics. He has practical knowledge in all sizes of business from entrepreneurial to Fortune 100 companies. He worked with the capital markets at Wells Fargo, built complex financial models for Cardinal Health and developed key business relationships at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Johnson also has experience in risk management, corporate sales, investment analysis and building econometric models. He has been recognized for outstanding performance in every position he has held. Mr. Johnson has a BS in Chemical Engineering, also a BBA and MBA in Finance.

Gaylene Fisch, Division President
Advantage Medical Devices

Ms. Fisch is a medical professional with a history of successfully managing people, budget and operations. She began her nursing career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in 1980. While working as an LVN, she attended Metropolitan State College in Denver Colorado for her undergrad degree in Hospital Administration and then went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado in 1989. Working in perioperative settings Ms. Fisch became Nationally Certified in Operating Room Nursing in 2002 and has held positions in management for outpatient surgical centers and Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla. She is a member of AORN, ASPAN, AVA and INS.

Mike Cairns, Division President
FreightScan

Mr. Cairns brings 20 years of industry experience to FreightScan. He began his career in 1987 with Wardair Canada Inc., subsequently acquired by Canadian Airlines International. During his tenure there, Mr. Cairns held progressive management positions covering Cargo Sales, Operations, Human Resources, Standards and Procedures and Business Process Re-design. He was also a key contributor to the restructuring of the Cargo Division and the development of domestic overnight freighter operation. Mr. Cairns joined Sabre Holdings, the parent company of Travelocity, in 1997 where he gained expertise in Electronic Distribution, complex O&D Analysis as well as Revenue and Yield management models. Prior to joining FreightScan, he was responsible for developing and deploying new business models that anticipated the evolving needs of the global airline community. Mr. Cairns received his MBA with distinction from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.

Sheri Ascencio, EVP of Marketing and Strategy
FreightScan

Ms. Ascencio was the leader of the original marketing for FreightScan, and brings a valuable legacy component to the team. She formerly served as Director of Marketing for Palomar Ventures where she started soon after the first fund was established in April 1999. Prior to joining Palomar, Ms. Ascencio was the founder and CEO of several successful companies in the mortgage banking industry from 1990 to 1997. Previously, she was the Vice President of Marketing for Centre Development, a large commercial and industrial development firm. Ms. Ascencio earned an MBA from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA and a BA in Communications from Mills College.
